AS HE’S MOVED FROM MONOCHROMATIC PAINTINGS to vividly colored ones, Wayson R. Jones has crafted multiple series of similarly composed pictures. His latest show comprises two different sets of small pieces as well as one larger canvas that fits with none of the others. “Color/Slash/Field,” also at Brentwood, offers the local artist multiple paths to his next destination.
