WALA Print Sale

HEMPHILL Artworks is pleased to announce a print sale to benefit the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA) on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 12 - 5 pm.

Let's do a good thing.

As our tax dollars are being removed from government programs that strengthen our communities and protect everyone's rights regardless of prestige or income, we must come together with additional support.

Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts annual budget was reduced by 1/3 for the current year, due to a recent reduction from their primary source of funding.

Since 1983, Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts has supported artistic expression and creative innovation by serving the legal needs of the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland arts and cultural communities. A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, WALA provides access to education, advocacy, and legal services through workshops and seminars, legal clinics, and pro bono legal referral services.

Join us in bridging a catastrophic financial gap by acquiring a print by a renowned Washington artist.

The goal is to raise money quickly and communicate solidarity with the local art community. The prints are priced to move. All proceeds from purchases and donations go directly to Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.

Prints by:

Marcel Bardon, William Christenberry, David Y. Chung, Jerry Clapsaddle, Michael Clark, Gene Davis, Patricia Tobacco Forrester, Jacob Kainen, Kitty Klaidman, Kevin MacDonald, Alfred J. Smith
